MakeMusicNY

Take part in a massive ensemble of electronic instruments! Using flashcards and hand signs, Hans Tammen has worked with large ensembles using electronic instruments for way over a decade. As part of this year’s Make Music NY at NYU, we will work with any electronics that make sound.

Take part in a massive synth orchestra! Eurorack, Moog, Buchla, Serge, Tonto, self-designed instruments: as long as it has patch cords and is analog, it's in! We are looking for about 20+ players to take part in the workshop and performance, to create a massive piece of waves, filtering, noise, and beats!

MakeMusicNewYork is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with over 1,000 concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the five boroughs. This year at The Firehouse, it merges with Hans Tammen’s “Dark Circuits” Festival - with a 20-piece orchestra of Korg littleBits synth players to Phillip White & Mario deVega, to Shoko Nagai & Miguel Frasconi.
